The Wizard

Topic: FamilyPoems

I once met an immortal man
who in his repetoire
had some of the most
incredibly amazing things you ever saw.

He took a crystal from his bag
and held it to the sky..
a crystal now it wasn't
but a living butterfly.

And then he took some magic dust
and sprinkled it around..
it lifted us beyond the sky,
surreally and confound.

Cradeling the planet Earth,
we soared around the sun;
he introduced me to the stars...
to each and every one..

He took me on this journey
through the universe and time
and blessed me with a consciencnes
of grandeur and sublime.

I must have missed something important in this poem. I don't see what sexuality has to do with it. I visualize an amazing man of talent and care. I think it is a splendid write and a great dedication.

sorry for the obscure reference to heterosexuality, but it was an inside joke (a seinfeld reference) between my brother and i. sorry for the confusion, i'll try to keep inside jokes on the inside.

hmmmmmmm ... I think I know that guy! lol

ahem! k .. sorry ... seriously!

Bill, this is a beautiful and amazing dedication. Gosh,
you know the bond you two share never EVER ceases to
amaze me. It is most remarkalbe, [and rare so cherish it!
....although, I know I need not tell either of you that!]

I read this a few times and can't place my finger on just
what stanza, line or words I find so captivating and
endearing ... the whole piece is altogether fabulous!

You are both truly lucky ... as am I, for having met you both.
I feel extremely blessed.

Extraordinary write, dear. A gem!!

~Breezy
