Stranger, please release me into light so that I may exist
Father, are you scared, are you in fright; or can you still assist?
Father I am here and I am waiting to be taught,
Father, about life, my soul, my happiness abroad.
Father, can I call you when I need to know about me?
Father, can you help me; can you do one thing unselfishly?
Father, I am fearless, I’ll face my sins, I will not be phased,
Father, you’re neglectful of the one you evidently raised.
Father, are we clear about each other’s paths?
Father, so we won’t bump roads, there’s a spell I’d cast.
Father, you remind me of myself, he myself I’ll still become,
Father, there are nightmares of my past, to my bedside ghosts will come.
Father, disillusioned I am not; you have taught me well,
Father, I have learned to cheat, to lie, to steal and to pretend.
Father, my life seems as if it’s shattered like a broken glass,
Father, please do something, please erase my convoluted past.
Father, you and I are birds; one of us will parish,
Father, what’s the rush please don’t forget that it’s me you cherish.
Father, I cannot help but think of all your vacant triumphs.
Father, I am pleased that I can now remember them and smile.
Father, let me go about my life; from your road away I’ll stir,
Stranger, when the gusty winds calm down; you suddenly reappear
