An Eternal Scar

It is a demon inside of you,
of whom you know naught of.
His conquest of your inner self,
destroys your good will and your love.

Like tentacles he drains the good,
and slyly departs with what he stole.
As he recedes, he leaves his mark.
The remains, now a poisoned soul.

The venom, an intoxication,
the invader, once the enemy,
Now established without shame,
the bitter tumor of Jealousy.

i love it! I loike the ways you describe jealousy as a poison and other metaphorical things. Keep it up. You're the only poet that ive seemed to really enjoy, (reading your writings.)
