savages

Topic: oops

There rests a place amidst the gardens of solitude
In this haven, for a chosen tribe,
The air is scarce for loss of altitude

The gardens which flaunt delicate flowers
While the time passes slower then any hour
The tribesmen sit under their respective trees
Writing each own memoirs
The chosen tribe of the gardens of solitude
Are going to war

Inherently a peaceful nation,
They were forced by colonists to resist
They have lived in these gardens since this world did exist
The chosen tribe has only one option
They must defend their home
Nestled among the gardens that flow,
There are bound to be some severed thorns
But the tribesmen sit under their tree and write
Their ambitious words with out scorn
If ever the feeling of desperateness and trepidation
This left the chosen tribe forlorn

Kingdoms, once their neighbors,
Have fallen to these savage men who come
They are said to plunder and rape
Until they feel or care to be done
This is the tribe’s only escape,
They must stand and be ready to fight
The pens with which they write
Have been promptly traded for sharp blades tonight

The footsteps of the savages
Approach in the near distance
A trap has been set,
A wall has been built for resistance.
Now all that is left is persistence.

The chosen tribe initially hesitant,
Now fights hard and charge the battle lines
The gardens of roses and dandelions
Quickly shatter,
Under the hoofs of the savages who fight
The secrets of the chosen tribe
Are in jeopardy of being compromised
While the savage’s burn the homes
And begin to bleed men from their eyes

The night owl, perched
And awake with keen interest
Becomes disgusted
He closes his eyes and screams
The chosen tribe
Of the gardens of solitude

Was murdered in my dreams…

Wow. Plenty of power behind those words...I have a theory as to what this may be about, but right or wrong, this was a fabulous write...This has a life all its own...Great job with this piece!
