i'm sorry i loved you...

Contributed by brokenwings on Monday, 23rd May 2005 @ 02:14:06 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

my love has crossed its final shore,
it has faded and will live no more
for all the words said in goodbye
my love seem to die

gave all my heart to some new
but still all my dreams turned to you
gave my heart, my soul, my love, my body
lost your heart your soul your love and body

now in the midnight hours
when lust was the strongest of power
i stand alone in the very same shower
where we made love and laughed
now all the good times have faded
we are both left alone and jaded
i'm sorry i hurt you by loving you
please believe me this is true
but if i could turn my heart to dust
and say it was only lust
i would do that in a heart beat
only to see you smile, and laugh
but i am unable to be cold and cruel
i'm sorry but i do love you.
so i am doing what i know the best
i am staying away
and how it hurt me to see you today
and not turn and walk your way
i know its a good start
for not losing your heart

I liked this a lot.
I can definitely relate, because I'm dealing with lost love too.

Take care,
