Taking sin and taking none
A caged bird flies into the sun.
It says to anyone that hears:
"Go to whence come your greatest fears.
For they bear only hindrance to
What callused hands have failed to do.
Your greatest deeds will go unknown
And like I fly they will have flown.
And in so doing you'll cease to be
And never know how to be free.
And in this wasted life you'll stay
Your existance dragged from day to day.
Of sweeter things there'll be no taste
And lonliness you will embrace.
So taking sin and taking none
You must now fly into the sun
And say to anyone that hears:
'Go to whence come your greatest fears.' "
