I was wrapped around your finger,
I’ll admit, that much is true.
And I could have filled a doughboy,
With the tears I cried for you.
I was too in love with you,
To notice your other side.
Too stupid to even realize,
All the things you tried to hide.
You dished out many lies to me,
As if refills were free.
And you didn’t stop to think of what,
This pain could do to me.
You sent me mixed messages,
And made promises you didn’t keep.
While you held on to God-knows-who,
I was left alone to weep.
You pretended that you didn’t know,
You were killing a teenage girl.
Meanwhile I was trapped,
Recording tears in my poetry world.
And you know what else you’re good at?
Telling lies before you leave.
And holding on to other girls,
When you promise you’ll hold me.
You probably only wanted me,
So that you could get some booty.
So every time you spoke to me,
You set your lying mouth for duty.
I don’t even want your pity,
Don’t you DARE feel sorry for me.
You should feel sorry for yourself,
If I were you, I would be.
All I ever did was love you.
All you ever did was lie.
Now you’re saying you’re sick of me,
Well now, I’m saying goodbye.
