Rain

Contributed by MyChemicalRomanceHeLeNa on Sunday, 22nd May 2005 @ 10:44:56 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

Dancing in the Rain, a Shrine of fire
heated memories of our desire
shades of putrid colors waiting to be released
sing to me
simplify this lie and hand it to me one more time
sacrifice this life for love thats lost this hour
hours of living in a trance like cold
hearts of silver shine in gold
show to me your love
insanity can hold sight to see
falling away from me
keep this knife and hold me twice
before I fall
shattered glass on the staircase
never knew what I did so wrong
broken mirrors of past lives
loving like I've always been hurt
Knowing that I'm unwanted
makes it worth the while
to find this blade of blood and lost hearts
and take it to myself
to bring my existance
falling
shattered
crying
screaming
reaching
wanting
bleeding
to a sudden
halt

Interesting effect how you funnel the poem down into nothing.
