Red Sunrise

Contributed by Mild_Tempest on Sunday, 22nd May 2005 @ 09:47:38 PM in AEST
Topic: happypoetry

The dawning in the forest of magic,
Refreshing breezes sweep through the land.
Secrets are in the hands of the mythic,
Nothing so striking. nothing so grand.

Soft brown dirt carpets layer the ground,
The huge mountain is a green umbrella.
Nothing to disturb the soft river sound,
A soft rhythm for a quiet slow rumba.

Streams so clear they are transparent,
Skies so blue it looks like an ocean.
Impossible intensities past arrant,
Lovely insufferable mixed potions.

The wind an adhesive slowly clings,
Unimaginable shades light the eyes.
Romantic filled dinners in evenings,
Again we will watch the scarlet sunrise.

I have this one friend, he is part Indian, so he was able to take me into this beautiful preserved back country, I do not have that nationality so only way for me to view it was with him, I cried with such loving laughter, seeing this beauty, just as your poem shows, and I was raised up in the country and miss it, and where I lived has all been changed and so I could only hold the beautiful memory in my heart and soul, mind, so when I saw this place, I was so filled with an outburst of joy, saying Oh Lord, it was hidden from me, but here it is, I must say I did get down on my knees that day to pray. Most beautiful write this is, thank you RL
