Out

Contributed by danimus on Sunday, 22nd May 2005 @ 07:33:29 PM in AEST
Topic: abstract

Something out of you it's going
Someone out of me is nowhere
Let go of too much, will you spare?
Let go of too much, how fair is it?
If pain could undress itself
I would walk with no clothes
And no one else would see
Theirselves, their shells and not me
Long walks ahead to undress
And the streets are empty
In the now of loneliness
Have a nice trip without me
And it's slightly cold enough to freeze
But I'm on my way out
All the doors will close before me
But I'm on my way out
Could you find your way out?
Will you drownd yourself out?
Classic epidemic in and out of it
Reaching for all the change
Walking out of what sits
In your house, why do you remain?
Why do you remain?
In clothes that wear you out
And you numb what you feel
Are you now somebody else?
Are you now somebody else?

very good job you did with this write, I liked it, little hard at times for me to follow, but I do have trouble with abstract poems, am working on learning them better. So I feel it is a very good poem, I understood some of what you was getting at. Tammi
