cried today
for the wind has changed direction
shifting with it
your emotions
how easy it seems for you
to pick up the pieces of heart broken
and carry on
how simple it was
only one week ago
when my heart
intact
loved you whole
what was it
in the space of days that came
that made it so
what could i have done
to settle the breeze
and keep it so
everything changes though
i suppose
but i cried today
for our love
a love that is
no more
