Contempt For Humankind

This world is saturated in such small, petty things,
My contempt for humankind again plagues my indifference.
The loathing is only cooled, while apathetic rain begins.
The dank angst soaked skyline acts as reference,
While, the cloud of hateful darkness consumes all.
