The winds raged downward from
the tops of the great mountain peaks;
With violence that whipped and roared
like a mythical and angry beast;
Accompanied by loud and shattering thunder
that brought great trembling and fear;
Flashes of lightening so bold and brilliant
spread through the night sky suddenly to disappear;
A spectacle only wrote of in times of
epic disasters from long ago ages;
Once again alive to bring warnings
of great catastrophy and need for change;
This tempestuous mayhem sent down
from Mother Nature's unfavored hand;
Letting lose her vengence once again
upon the mortal disloyalty of man.

I love your poems!!!!
They leave a very vivid picture in my mind.
I really like this one because I love storms.
Lightning stoms especially.
I like this part
"Accompanied by loud and shattering thunder
that brought great trembling and fear;
Flashes of lightening so bold and brilliant
spread through the night sky suddenly to disappear;"
Great poem |
