They Walk Away

I’m reaching out for help
But everyone is walking away
I’m calling out in doubt
Because I know no one’s on their way
I fell into a hole
And I can’t get out
Every day, people destroy my soul
As they walk away
No one will help me
The figure that
They’ll just let me be
Don’t think I need them at all
They walk right on by
Don’t stop to look,
Just walk away without even a “hi”
Talking with their other friends
I stare at their backs
And wonder if anyone
Can help me get back on track
As I watch them walk away
