Seduction in Faith

Contributed by Blu on Saturday, 21st May 2005 @ 06:15:07 PM in AEST
Topic: StoryPoetry

I have wandered
the lidded flames under your brow
and found secrets

that you and I share
that you felt inside of me
or looking down
as though
the movement of your body
was the movement of my body

and we both smiled
because I felt it with my hand

where wine was spilled
running down
to where I rose
conquering your body

(as I swayed from your pleasure)

feeling our secret
burn with our fires
the flames that we've created

because it is created in silence-
a song for our ears
a hymn to gods we worship

and we can sing it
let the open window be witness-
the bedroom too-
to our voices

when they grow hurried
with the anticipation

and cry out
with release

the languid movements
prove that we have prayed
(such a seduction in faith)

when bodies meet in prayer
and sing together
and wait for tomorrow night

when I know
I will rise again
out of the trunk of my lover
and wander the fire
behind your eyes.

My god that was sexy...
I smell a torrid love affair Blu!
Haha! Very very well done, this just oozes sexuality.
