Your Birthday...

Contributed by BuggY on Saturday, 21st May 2005 @ 05:01:41 PM in AEST
Topic: BirthdayPoems

Your Birthday Is In Two Days,
Im Not Looking Forward To It,
I Know I Will Cry,
But I Will Come To You And Sit.

Your Birthday Soon,
Another Year Gone By,
72 Years Of Age,
Wow That Time Did Fly.

Your Birthday is Nearly Here,
For I Will Get You A Card,
I Will Write A Poem For You,
Straight From The Heart.

Your Birthday On The 23rd,
No-One Has Forgotten,
I Will Never Ever Forget It,
Because You Are Far Too Important.

Your Birthday The Day After Tomorrow,
And I Will Come And Sit With You,
You Will Not Be Alone On Your Birthday,
Visiting You Is What I Pursue.

Bamps, I Will See You On The 23rd,
I Would Walk Up To The Moon,
To Have You Back In My Life,
I Love You Bamps And I’ll Sit With You Soon.

[this is about my Grandad, who died 6 years ago, and its his birthday on the 23rd of May. please comment]

What a beautiful birthday tribute to your grandfather. I was very close to my grandparents and father who have gone before me. I remember them everyday and it feels like on special occasions they are here with me. This is so well written.

Smiles,
Dove
