Some things should never be spoken
so they will never be heard
the one that got me in trouble
was a simple ten letter word
To me it was such a small thing
a token of growing affection
never in my wildest dreams
would I think it would lead to rejection
Having left the nest with such glee
and unfurling my wings to fly
aerodynamically I am such a failure
ground rushing up for me to die
Heart breaks in two on impact
this was the way it had to be
because I jumped oh so early
instead of waiting patiently
I'd thought I was ready to soar
amongst the azure with life on the mend
but that ten letter word sent me crashing
because I'd wanted girlfriend

Ah Jaycee, some things are perceived differently by others. You should not let that phase you.
A word of advice tho. Take it slow and easy and enjoy the friendship.

I am so sorry for laughing, but this is so funny and normal. Sorry to say I don't believe it was the word, I think it was the 'me want too fast' that cause the hurt. Hope all is better now.
