It was just a regular Wednesday
afternoon. Me and him, just driving
Home from Tescos, did the shopping
You see. Anyway this kid ran across the
Road, he wasn't looking...I suppose
That's when it all started...that moment.
My husband just mumbled and
Grunted. He said slowly, 'I'm
Gonna teach them kids a lesson.
They're gonna wish they looked
Both ways.'
Now, I didn't think much of this
It was the way Danny was. Always
coming up with hair-brain schemes
He was. If it wasn't kids looking both
Ways, it was them cleaners at work
thinking they own the place or how
To get into the cinema for free. Always
Had a new scheme every week. You know
What? I used to bet myself a tenner that
He'd never get off that fat lazy arse of 'is.
I loved 'im though, don't think I didn't love 'im.
But Danny was more a thinker than a do-er,
He always thought of these things but never
Followed through...That's why I didn't worry
About it.
It was different this time though. I've never
Seen my Danny act like that. I've been
Married to 'im for 18years and he's never
Harmed a single 'air on anyones head.
If only that bloody kid looked, it was like
A hit and run. On my own bloody street as
Well! He seemed to know what he was doing
Though, made hell as sure that police didn't
Find out. The kid was that loverly kid Jon.
Then it was Sara and then Jack then this
Eighteen year old. Then he started doing
The same to adults, that didn't look. He
Used to say, 'This is the only way they'll learn!'
But no one had a stinking clue, why all these
Hit-and-runs were happening...'cept me. I could
Of stopped it. But I just thought he'd forget
About it next week, he never did. He hit Old
Mrs Watkins, she was sixty-bleeding-two!
Then it was Mr Marsdon and then Ms Kelsey and
Then...me...He killed every single one of them
People. He missed me though. I swear I forgot
To look for one bleeding second! I heard a screech
From round the corner. It was 'im. I knew it was. He'd
Been watching me. I can't believe he'd do this to me.
I heard the tyres screech on the road.
I ran.
Back on to the pavement. I thought that was the
End of it. He followed me, drove on the pavement
Trying to hit me 'n' kill me for 'not looking.' I could
Of stopped all this but I didn't. He tried to hit me on
The pavement, outside OUR home.
I ran
Here.

Well, this was just plain weird. Weird can be good though. What the hell is this though? Humor? FictIon? If it's a true story well, it's screwed up and I hope the guy is in jail and you are seeking psychiatric help. Peace. |
