so quiet out here all alone
the only noise is my heart beating
to the frantic rhythm of nothing
cool, fresh breezes ruffle my hair and soul
i feel inspired by nature's wonders
dark and light, good and bad all at once
the flicks of sun in the sky twinkle
and with each spark, my muse comes down
she whispers melodies in my ear
as she does my feet and ground no longer touch
i am weightless, breathless, thoughtless
black above, night below
and i choose the black
