Hey there little girl
Little girl, you shouldn't be here alone
Why are you walking down this road?
I could care less where I'm going
Or how we get there -- just keep moving
Little girl, it's dangerous out here
Come closer, come near
Who has pushed you to this path?
Child...tell me of when you last laughed
Come closer, come near
You should've never come here
Little girl, you shouldn't be traveling this alone
You may end up old
You do'nt want this hole in your heart to talk about
So just go back home
...or somewhere near there.

Very interesting poem, I liked it, I don't know of the material that inspired you, but I think it doesn't matter as the imagry is strong. |
