In this white room
With no windows
Empty but for the air
And silent but for the beating of my heart
I rest my head against the wall
I don’t even want to see the corners
Or the ceiling or the floor
I remember listening to the wind
When I had no place left to go
The world was a massive place
With many things to understand
And a discovery at every look
But there was nobody there at all
So I no longer cared to reach
I remember listening to the hum of my computer
And the swaying of the leaves
The world was a massive place
But there was nobody there at all
In this white room
With no windows
Silent, cold, and empty
I rest my head against the wall
Never caring to see the corners
Or the ceiling or the floor
