the sinking fire
grasped the edge of the pit
at teh world's end
with desperate hands of flame
that moved across the water
waiting for that which never come
and answering gold and answeing fire
in the distant east
but all the flowed back from there
was a mocking silvery laugh
and ebony waves
of the moon's twining twisting hair
that filled the amber fingers
of the pleading dyind sun
in the shadow that danced
on waves in the waters
where light and dark
mingled into one.

Some really great visuals were cast from your imagery ladden words! I like this...Some spelling errors are present, which takes away from the write a tad, but just click 'yes' next time for the moderators to double check your spelling. Keep up the writes, you have a poetic mind for sure! Such a shame people slept on this...
