War is a battle between two opposing sides.
No matter what happens, someone dies.
The conflict always has a cause for its existence.
The soldiers choose close combat or keep their distance.
War is an event that will be recorded in the books,
a chessboard with kings hiding behind pawns and rooks.
The soldiers' energy is none other than blood;
it can flow like a river or storm out like a flood.
War is a race to determine the stronger.
The winner can say that their side is the better.
Unfortunately, that's not always the case.
Someone might seek revenge and demand a replay.
War is forever and thus, has no end.
Dreams of peace will come to an end.
If a soldier does not want to succumb to the sorrow,
The soldier must fight as if there's no tomorrow.

Good poem--there will be war and rummer of war--do not be afraid--these things must pass--until I come again.
