That's what it's lacking -
emotion, darling!

(Just fake a smile and nod along)

I'm not going to dismiss tomorrow
just because it's the last day of the month

(It's all you can do, really)

Well I know if I pretend they didn't matter
I can make myself believe it

(And it won't hurt as much, right?)

I don't expect you to understand what I'm saying
(But you can dismiss me)
((instead of tomorrow, of course))

Stop the insanity!

(There's no end to madness)

Step right left left right forward-back
You're there!

(Actually, you never really got anywhere.)
