Broken Hearts

I have a broken heart in my chest
Part of it has broken and I can’t put back the rest

I see him upon so many faces
I can’t even put back my heart with laces

He has replaced me with another love
Mine is no longer like a dove

Cold and alone I sit in the corner it’s so dark
And I sit alone in our place in the park

Cold tears fall down my face
Leaving trails of dark skin in its place

I touch my wet cheek blaming myself for ever falling for loves trick
But love hits me…it hit me like a stick

So now I sit in my room cold and alone

Trying to face my fear of love.
