Mixed Emotions

do you know how it feels
when pain wont go away
its like a knife jabbing at your side
you love someone so much
from their heart you long to hear the beat
the sound of soft quiet pounding on a door

but you hate them at the same time
are they ever gonna realize
you're about ready to quit your life
you'd do anything
to win the heart of the one you love

holding a blade to your wrist
cutting their name to prove a point
you watch the blood trickle down
knowing its the wrong thing to do

they act like they dont understand
sleepless nights you're just to fearful
of the answer they might come up with
driving you insane until you cant take it
you can feel your heart painfully breaking

your name is scarred in my body
sometimes i regret it
it seems like my life is beginning to deteriorate
the smell of dead corpses
forever lying in a river

the dreadful taste of the rotten earth
the darkness and cold feeling
like being in an old broken down house
by myself
in the middle of nowhere

im afraid of ending my life alone
but im not giving up now
with my soul i can bet
i cannot wait any longer

this obbsession will last until you leave
and my heart is slowly turning to stone
is this the way i will be forever
mixed emotions is all i have
until you say you love me
