DreamsandWishes

All the dreams that place themselves
inside a territory so unstable
begin crawling to an edge
rebirthed as daredevils
challenging life and damnation
spitting in the face of every authority
And they will not falter
in every aspiration they seek
even though their cause
often becomes irrelevant
to their master and their slave
They desire for a place inside this world
A place inside this mind
Yet the skill of a carpenter
only comes with mistake
and the flame of a fire
only breathes by a spark
Worthless wishes implant themselves
longing for regard
but presenting no evidence
for future cost
Blinded eyes lay sleeping
hiding from an obvious truth
