It was a cruel and crude development.
Nearly a mile high.
Windows cuttered it like a rash...
spread over skin like metal...
derived from Satans eyes.
Ladders and stairways, climbing into the
black clouds...
Wires and storm drains,
envoloping it like an over stuffed elctric unit,
About to fall apart,
under the weight of its own power.
Arakrauss.
Elevators made of glass...
Up and down,
With no travelers...
Making sounds,
like whining...
Hurt and agonized under
the emotional damage.
There is a sheen of red
as blood,
That shows only at dusk
and feeble dawn...
As thought a million souls were spread...
Out over the ceiling.
Ropes fall in the lobby,
stairways that have to go somewhere...
Rooms inside rooms so
your utterly lost...
when your heading in one direction
that goes repeatedly nowhere.
The owner is never seen...
and desires not to be seen...
perhaps it's better if it
remains so...
less we keep our sanity.
Arakrauss.
(The building is alive,
I hear it breathing.)

I liked this very much. Very interesting because it is a departure from the usual themes I find myself reading. Yet I do not praise it for its difference alone but for its scale of imagination which it seems you are quite adapt at traversing. Quite good , truly , doug |
