It was the first day of tennis
Lessons started at four
I knew I was late
When I walked though the door

The first thing I noticed
Was you standing there
I was hooked from the start
I couldn't help but to stare

I wanted your number
So that I could call
I knew I had to have you
Becuase you had it all

So I talked to our coach
Right after you'd gone
He got me your number
And I thought "right on"!

A few weeks later
We had started to talk
You asked if I'd go out
And I suddely started to gawk

I was thrilled
That this beautiful boy
Had started to like me
It bought me such joy

From the movies to the dance
We've gone on many dates
Each one was a pleasure
I know all to come will be great

You are so good to me
That's why were still together
I know this love will last
I hope this is forever
