My Heaven

Contributed by somedaylove on Thursday, 19th May 2005 @ 09:14:35 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I lay in total silence
Listen to your every breath
Breathing rhythmically in and out
I can’t help but to breathe with you

As I watch you I see
Your chest rise and fall with every breath,
Your skin glistens,
Your hair flows like the waves of the ocean
From the moon beams shining in the window

You mumble little words,
To most they would mean nothing,
But to me they mean the world.
I answer you,Yes my love
With happiness flowing threw me

You snuggle up tightly to my chest,
We now breathe as one
Chest moving up and down
In perfect rhythm with each other

The rest I need will soon follow
For laying here with you,
Watching, listen and feeling you sleep
Is like a lullaby to me

Yes you are my angel,
And I am now in Heaven

The beauty of this for me is captured in the line " We now breath as one ". In this line I believe I felt the serene unity of the moment.
It was refreshing to peer into your heaven.
Great write , truly , doug
