i thought about you today
i thought of you and ran away
ran away from my tears ran away from my heart
ran away from my fears ran away and fell apart
i want so bad to see you again
but i know i cant and the pain wont end
i wonder why you had to go
thats all i ever wanted to know
you were always there throught thick and thin
and now i wont know what could have been
ill never get to hold your hand or kiss you on the cheek
ill never get to run with you and play down by the creek
i wont ever see your smile shine
i think about it all the time
remember the days when we were young
when wede pull eachothers hair and stick out our tongue
those were the days that stay by me
i want you home right next to me
every time i close my eyes i remeber looking up at the skies
lying in the warm summers day
watching all the clowds float away
you were always right by my side
but now your gone and you have to hide
i will always feel like theres a part missing
and ill spend the rest of my life wishing
wishing you could come home to stay
and knowing that life doesnt work that way
i promice that i will try not to cry
and ill go on loving you till the day that i die!!!
