While I hide my face within the clouds
From the firey gaze of people and god
If a cloud can block out sunlight
Then it can act as a facade
But clouds are naught but air and rain
They taunt me with the promise of cover
But I know that if I were to sit upon one
Down, very slowly, I would hover
Then I would be back to where I started
To the world from which I was hiding
With no hiding place for example, a cloud
To live a life that is abiding
