I take my last glimpse of heaven
as I stare into her eyes
and pray that she’ll forgive me
in-spite of all the lies.
Man all the pills in that bottle that I took
seem to be draining my life, really really quickly
I just pray that when I die
people don’t think that I was crazy
Cuz that’s the worst fear that I have
to lose the last thing I got
after all I’d lost my soul,
Just tryin’ to take hold of what I sought.
But when I look into her face
I begin to think that
I have just fallen from grace.
Oh God what have I done to you my dear?
Just please kiss away this one last tear.
