Sister of all sisters, you are my blade

Contributed by Fears on Wednesday, 18th May 2005 @ 05:37:46 PM in AEST
Topic: FamilyPoems

As I stand here watching you
my eyes are bleeding and
thoughts pouring.
My questions are forever marked on my wrists
and my memories, forever scarred.

I scream at your words
and vow to hate you
but forever is a short time for me.
The blade is only an inch away.

I just wanna take your
perfect little book and
pound it into your perfect little face.
All I want to do is watch your
little eyes shut...
Forever

But, you are my sister
my shoulder through life.
If i were to vanish you then
my heart would break
and i would fall through
the cracks in the ground.

All i wanted to do was
put down the knife
but you...decided my fate.

This is a very strong peice. The emotion written in every word/line/stanza. Your sister sounds as lovely as all my siblings, at times. But hey, thats what they're there for, to drive us mad and rip us apart...least thats how it seems. Anyway, veryvery well written.
