Topic: oops

I wonder if you'd know me
if I saw you face to face
away from all the mindless crap
the games within this place?

Were I to stand in front of you
could you see within my eyes
the pain from love so yearned for
yet destroyed with cruelest lies?

Would you hold me in your arms
when I tried to run away
could you see the need behind the fear
that awaits me everyday?
