Topic: Lifepoems

Staring at the ceiling above me
Is this as high as I can go
There must be someone who loves me
Someone to stop me from feeling so low

How did it get to be so bad
Why did I let myself be dragged
There was a time I thought I never would fall
Then came the sign
From the man whose name has never been told

Like the bible on the shelf
I was reaching at straws for something to help
just like usual no-one was there to catch my fall
So maybe this is me, what I deserve
The way it's all been planned for me
I'll be happy, I'll get through
But remember this is all
Down to you
