Mixed emotions on the topic
When the time is right
You will let loose
And be yourself for tonight
The moment has come
This is your last chance
To become undone
From within yourself
A voice can be heard
From the bottom of the pit
A figure can be discerned
On the roof top where you sit
The stars a visible
And where you exhale
Your lips become irresistible
The temperature begins to drop
A sign from the stars
That you’re gazing must stop
Its amazing you lasted this long
In pretending that it was you
Who wrote this love song
Where you sit and sing
The electric violin
The cord abruptly snaps
And your gazing eyes
Have their final relapse
Content and satiated
You have been pleasured
In your bed of feathers
You lay waiting
Unfettered
Unassuming
Just sitting there
Still humming the chorus
The song you never wrote
Lips ever so gorgeous
