We are the glass that I have broken,
when destiny and love deceived you.
We are a mass of words unspoken
and not the end that you agreed to.
In the bar that night, in the fog, in the rain,
I wanted desperately to believe you.
So if the memory of me
keeps pulling heart-strings,
pulling teeth,
at the end,
remember just one thing.
There is a sense of renewal
that even death can bring.

oooo bitterness and hurt combined with a tooth ache make for a great write about a failed relationship.
But I like the hint of hope for a better future at the end(at least thats how I'll read into it :) ) |
