You're right here beside me
Yet so far away
I can't reach out and touch you
But I have nothing to say
How cruel is this distance
So near yet so far
I can't help but want you
For right there you are
Close enough to feel
The longing for your kiss
This knowing I could have you
Is the one thing that I miss
With everything to lose
But so much to gain
And knowing that you
Are feeling the same
Why won't you say something
To let me know more
That I'm not wasting my time
That you know I adore you
Distance, unfair
And cruel unto me
Short, but dividing
And so bitter-sweet

beautiful....simply beautiful. i know this feeling well. it hurts so bad, but you can't help but welcome the hurt...because at least it lets you know you're still capable of feeling
