Topic: Grief

I wanted more from life than death,
so I showed her my heart.
I hope it wasn't another mistake,
one that will drives us apart.

The feelings that I feel for her,
she says she knows them well.
How come that if I love her,
these words could send her to hell?

Feeling like a lonely child,
nobody to hold on to,
and there's nothing I can do,
except that seeing this through.

The curse of one that loves you,
Also that I know far too good.
We know it's easier to lie,
but that's something I never would.

It can't be, and never will.
That was once my answer.
Now I'm here, and hear the same.
Now it feels like cancer.

this seems like a very personal poem, yet somehow, i fell like i know what ur goin through, only cause i feel attached to these words as i have felt them.
