Pausing midst a moonlight streak,
Monstrous creature, torn and weak,
Lack of courage chokes the mind,
Power within, lost to find,
Flaming pressure, breathe of acid,
Threat of breaking, inner hazard,
Mental torture, neverending,
Death, release, everpending,
A splitting shot to strain the ear,
Announcing that my doom draws near,
While all I have, a single, solemn, Tear

O.K., this is cool. I have to agree that:
Threat of breaking, inner hazard,
is my favorite too. Along with the first two lines! Very, very good!
