running scared

Contributed by sweetnsilentsoul on Monday, 16th May 2005 @ 08:27:10 PM in AEST
Topic: toughstuff

i was thinking of you today
remembering the time that you ran away
ran away from your problems
ran away from your fears
hiding them inside and not sheding your tears
i used to think you were so strong
still looking for where you belong
but now i see that your just scared
scared of life and everything compared
i dont see the hero i used to
the hero inside that you know is true
instead i see a child
so delicate and dear
a helpless frail lost soul
who is losing all control
i want so bad to fix you
but you tell yourself your not broken
but we all know different
hy wont you just take lifes token
instead you turn and run
run away from all you know
trying to find another place to go
you can search all of your days
but nomatter what you can never erase
erase your past and who you are
so run all you want but youll find youve ran to far
now your all alone no where to run nowhere to hide
no way of hiding the fear in side
so have a good life and say your goodbyes
its just to sad that you never realized how much we loved you
and now youll never know the truth
will you?
