ohh my first love
what have i done to you?
you promised me the heavens above
i promised my soul to you
i said many things
promised to follow your lead
to listen and learn
and make myself worthy of the price to be free
now i lock you away
I weep and cry every night.
i forget to share your love
and i denounce you every time things aren't right
dear bride please forgive me
i have walked astray
i have forgotten you my savior
but you never forgot me

Ending lines are superb....beauty and anguish are poured forth in the lines.."dear bride please forgive me i have walked astray..I have forgotten you my savior..but you never forgot me".. per chance she reads these lines..:-) venkat |
