My Only Little Girl

Contributed by Essentially9 on Sunday, 15th May 2005 @ 08:42:40 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

My Only Little Girl

Black's so becoming
Silhouetting sadness.
White's the color of mourning
What you never had
In this world of nothingness.

The broken wings
Of the angel of happiness
Only brings
The death of her
Heaven shrouded in sinfulness.

I am silhouetted in black
For my little girl never to come back.

In sadness there is light.
Your little girl now in the purest white.
Death of a child is the hardest thing.
Know that she now is an angel being.
Through death new angels are born.
In heaven happiness goes on and on.

The first line just amazed me and I loved
how the next line complimented it. The
imagery in this was stunning.

Is this really about the death of a little girl?
Or is it about the loss of your own childhood?
Thought provoking and well written as always for you!
