in doubt again

Contributed by blue_angel on Sunday, 15th May 2005 @ 07:26:10 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

im in doubt again
if this feeling will last
i keep remembering
how it didnt in the past

im in doubt again
if this smile will fade
if i can keep the change
if i can live this way

im in doubt again
this way that i think
its bringing me down
my dreams and hopes sink

im in doubt again
no hand can reach me
i make this so difficult
i blind myself, i cant see

in doubt again
my hands clench my heart
can i survive
while this world tears me apart?

Sorry you feel this pain my friend but know that your not alone I to have felt this way before. You have many friends around and we thank you for sharing your emotions with us in these writes. I really like the last stanza of this write.

in doubt again
my hands clench my heart
can i survive
while this world tears me apart

This was such a powerful ending to a very powerful and emotional write. Take care my friend and thank you again for sharing this piece with us and if you need anything as I say you can just hit me up….Steve

Hi Jennie

Don't overanalyze what you have found. You are happy, you have found something good. That should be enough for anybody ;) Seriously, I think we can understand fear, especially of potential loss. I don't have any advice other than not responding to it. Enjoy the company you have found and trust in yourself. If you do that, things should go well. Problems will always come and go despite the happiness, but keep yourself focused on him and you, and like I said, trust in yourself. You have a lot to offer him, you're a remarkable young woman.

Honest and open words, well expressed.

I think the answer to these questions is found in silence. In silence, alone, we can learn a lot more about the things that trouble us, as well as about ourselves. I think often we're not good friends with our own hearts, and that causes a lot of confusion and struggle. I've felt a bit of that lately, but I think the times when I've been alone, even lonely, a lot were the times I understood the most.

Take care.

Andrew
