Grief

Punch, Slap, Kick, Choke.
It's what goes on when kids are home,
The oldest locks the babies in a room to play alone.
The oldest goes down to stop,
But all she can do is watch.
The drunken man grabs hold her mothers throat,
She screams for help but noone is there!
Except the girl in the corner who cries in dispair.
She starts to cry louder she doesn't understand why?
She can't stop that man?
The mother's face turns bright blue,
The oldest cries louder what to do?
She grabs the phone and calls the cops,
The police are on their way.
But as they arrive her mother is gone,
He held to tight, He held to long!
