Grief
|
I saw you run.
(I followed...)
You ran as fast
as fast can be.
You were trying to
follow the wind.
I heard your tears
falling against the ground.
There where so much suffering
in those tears sound.
You ran far,
as the roads should
have last
forever.
(I wanted to follow)
You stopped in the white snow,
turned around and saw me,
with so much pain to bare.
You turned your back at me,
did not want to answer when I asked.
(My tears arrived)
With slow steps you continued.
(I followed..)
So high I have never been before,
in direction to the angels.
You turn around and tell me that
it is here it all shall end,
You had to go home.
(But I wanted to follow you..)
I run through the forest,
hide so I can see you.
You are walking slowly forwards,
looking through the abrupt..
(The one who should not be standing there)
I can feel your pain and tears
better than I ever could.
You are bending,
between life and death.
(I caaaan't be standing here!)
I run to take your hand,
but it is too late.
You turn and lose your balance.
I see you fall
just like an angel
you are flying through the air.
(The air who were filled with suffering and grief.)
You are hitting the hard, cold ground.
The body is broken,
my angel who tried to fly.
Now I am standing
bending.
I want to follow you..
(But I can't seem to find out how..)
My place is here on earth,
even you went to heaven without me.
You will always be in my memories,
you will always have a place in my heart,
but still you said goodbye.
Rest in peace my angel,
we will meet again.
Because every angel will fall.
