SHE'S GOT YOU BY THE BALLS

Contributed by jyssvw22 on Sunday, 15th May 2005 @ 04:38:08 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Knock their socks off
Show them what you got
The competitive beast in you
Is dying to be let out

Take her by the hand
Tell her who you are
Show her what makes you a man
Show her how she is a flower

Feel your muscles burn
Feel your paranoia shrink
Defend yourself when they stare
Stare back at them until they blink

Say hello when she winks
Don’t be afraid to speak
You’re just like her past lovers
Only they have already seen

She does this every weekend
She won’t return your calls
You beg and plead your message
Yet she’s got you by the balls

All these women call you
Yet she remains the prime
Object of your affection
She does this every damn time

The past is in, well, the past

And you my dearest

Can never last

For in your darkness

The stars kindly ask

To disappear one time

And never come back at last

Careful what you say to her
Wouldn’t want to offend
Prompt service was expected
Now you can wait until your dead

Dinner for two please
The reservations are made
Sit and enjoy the conversation
As the glimmer from her eyes begins to fade

Ironic as the rainy wedding day
Not ironic one bit
The sad truth behind the music
Is that you are a perfect fit

The conclusion of the ramble
Is that you must move along
The delusion you hold on to
Will wither you to the bone

You come to me as a friend
I speak to you like a monk
I give you my greatest gift
The gift of getting drunk

In your dizziness

A vision will appear

The ghost of your dreams

Has come to bite off your ear

Then tell you a story

Of how it seems...

Well, my, I don't quite know how to comment on this one. Pretty powerful message that it sounds like someone should truthfully heed. Splendid work.

Hmmm...not sure how I haven't commented on this sooner...with the title and all...LOL j/k This write is fairly straight-forward as far as who it's directed at (mainly...) I do however read some lines that sound suspiciously like they're directed inward...I won't speculate any further, but I will say, this is a well written piece, and it's one of a few I've read that seem like important stepping stones...(However small they may be...still counts amigo)
