My Boo Boo Baby

Topic: ChildrensPoetry

Justin my little boo boo baby,
hitting everything in site,
I'll buy you a helmet maybe,
So I know you'll be alright,

When you fell & started to bleed,
I had to be strong,
I knew mommy is what you need,
So I started singing our song,

The one you like to ease the pain,
and than I saw you smile,
Just when I thought I'd go insane,
It made being a mom worth while,

you had to get just a stich or two,
but I was there,
You soon were good as new,
so have no fear,

My little baby, blue eyed and all,
so full of energy,
If I could be there when you fall,
like I promised I would be,

I love you so,if only you knew,
your heart is so warm,
I will kiss away all the boo boos,
so you wont feel any harm!

As the mother of two grown children and now a grandmother i felt that it is unfortunate that we cannot protect our children from all forms of boo boo's but these are lifes lessons to prepare them for adulthood. the bad part is not being able to protect them as we wanted best of luck and give the boo boo baby extra hugs and kisses.

I think this is a great write. I was in your shoes at one time. I still feel his way when my children hurt themselves. *S* Cynthia
