Raindrops fallin' on my shoulders
Reminds me so of tears---that curse
If only there was no such thing
Then you wouldn't have seen me ever cry
You wouldn't have seen through all those lies
Raindrops fallin' on my hands
I'll catch them within my bend
And when I reach them, I'll show you
So you can see the stirring emotions in my eyes
Not that strong and warm disguise
Plitter, platter, sounds so different from tears
Tears so quiet you can't hear
Raindrops don't hurt
Tears, just can't be in that way

Awww, I know this under general poetry but it sounds sad to me. Like you want someone to know your feelings but are ashamed of the tears. I don't know if I interpreted that right or not but it just seems that way to me. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed this! ^^ |
